Koss Porta Pro magnetic attachment system for Delanclip!

This is still a work in progress, and the magnetic adapter can even be modified for mounting other things in the future!

Warning - Due to the nature of the clips for the headphones, they may leave the plastic on the headphones with some small ding / scuff marks. I am not responsible for any damage to your headphones. 

This is my best attempt at creating a headtracking mount for the porta pros, while keeping the weight some-what low, to keep the appeal of the lightweight headphones. There is a noticeable weight that is added to the right ear but its manageable. 

It may be possible to shave some weight in the delanclip block, but most of the weight is coming from the delanclip itself.

Print Instructions

The provided 3mf file should have every part provided in the correct orientation.

Make sure you add print pauses right before the magnet cavities are sealed. For the block that goes on the delanclip, add a stack of 2 6x3mm magnets to each hole. For the headphone adapter, add 1 magnet to each hole.

When placing the magnets, each part should receive the magnets in the same orientation.

  • Infill - 15%
• Filament: Prusa PLA (default prusa slicer provided profile)
