Cable feed-through

I have built a wooden box so that I can mount my music system permanently on the patio. Because the sunlight is sometimes strong in summer, I also wanted to create an opportunity for air exchange. At the same time, I wanted to prevent insects from nesting in the box. For this reason, I designed a narrow-meshed ventilation grille (see https://www.printables.com/model/852513-ventilation-grille).
 

I have developed this solution so that I can get the cables into the box without cutting off the plugs and still have an insect-proof feed-through.
