This design captures and channels the heated airflow from the Sunlu S4 directly into the AMS, ensuring maximum drying efficiency with minimal effort—all while maintaining a non-invasive setup.

Key Features:

  • Non-Invasive Design: The AMS Chock and Sunlu S4 adapter are additional printed parts that connect the two devices together without requiring any modifications to either the AMS or the Sunlu S4 filament dryer. Simply attach and use!
  • Customizable Chock Placement: Choose to place the AMS Chock intake on either the left or right side of the AMS by printing the corresponding part (plate 1 or plate 2).
  • High-Performance Sunlu S4 Adapter: A four-part system tailored to the Sunlu S4 dryer, ensuring precise airflow management:
    1. Lid: Sits securely on top of the Sunlu S4, acting as the airflow outlet.
    2. Slanted Pipe: Channels the air upward and towards the AMS.
    3. Splitter: Collects and combines the output from both Sunlu S4 fans.
    4. Gaskets (Optional): Provides an airtight seal to prevent leaks and maximize performance.
  • Heat-Resistant Design: The splitter is designed to withstand high temperatures, making it ideal for filaments requiring elevated drying conditions (provided you use ABS, ASA, or a stronger filament).
  • Flexible Integration: A standard 60mm duct connects the adapter to the AMS Chock intake, maintaining a consistent and efficient airflow path.
  • Precise Alignment for Easy Assembly: Built-in coupling features ensure proper alignment of all adapter components with the Sunlu S4 fans.

Printing Instructions:

  1. AMS Chock: Print plate 1 or plate 2, depending on whether you want the Chock intake on the left or right side of the AMS.
  2. Adapter Components:
    1. Print the lid and slanted pipe using at least PETG filament.
    2. Print the splitter in ABS to ensure it resists deformation from high temperatures.
  3. Optional Gaskets: Print the two gaskets in TPU to enhance air tightness.

Assembling Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sunlu S4: Remove the four rollers hanging over the two fans.
  2. Attach the Gaskets: If using, connect the gaskets to the two fan intakes of the splitter.
  3. Assemble the Adapter:
    1. Attach the larger end of the slanted pipe to the splitter, aligning the couplings.
    2. Connect the assembled splitter and pipe to the top adapter lid.
  4. Install the Adapter: Open one side of the Sunlu S4 cover and insert the adapter assembly, ensuring the splitter covers
the fans and the top adapter lid is flush with the top of the Sunlu S4.
  5. Install the AMS Chock: Place the Chock inside the AMS system.
  6. Connect the Duct: Use a flexible 60mm duct to link the adapter lid output to the AMS Chock intake.
