Seestar S50 Telescope Adapter for Celestron AVX compatible Stands

This adapter allows easy and quick mounting of a Seestar S50 telescope on your stable Celestron telescope stand without having to make a change at the Seestar or your Celestron tripod.
In principle, the adapter fits on each stand with a metric 10 mm coarse and at least a 60 mm base. 
The height of the adapter is aligned with the adjusting pin of the telescope stand so that it does not impede the installation of the SeeStar.

For the completion of the adapter you need these additional acessories:

• a 3/8 inch screw (length 7/8 inch) with hexagonal head (edge to edge:  14.1 mm) for the thread of the SeeStar
• a nut with 10mm metric thread (edge to edge:  16.9 mm)
• three wood screws (4x20 mm, 4 mm diameter)

Assembly:

1. Push nut into the shaft until it appears in the opening on the underside.
2. Now the insert for the nut can be introduced to cover it.
   This is also not quite easy and can probably no longer be opened! Mounting is possible without additional work.
3. Insert the screw with the hexagonal head and place the cover
4. Now fasten the lid with the three wood screws until these close flush with the lid. No further drilling of the holes is necessary.

Dieser Adapter ermöglicht die einfache und schnelle Montage eines Seestar S50 Teleskopes auf dem stabilen Dreibein eines Celestron Teleskop-Stativs. Änderungen am Seestar oder dem Dreibein sind nicht notwendig.
Im Prinzip passt der Adapter auf jedes Dreibein mit einem metrischen 10 mm-Gewinde und einer 60 mm-Basis.
Die Höhe des Adapters ist auf den Justierstift des Teleskopdreibeins ausgerichtet, so dass dieser nicht die Montage des SeeStar behindert.

Für die Fertigstellung des Adapters werden zusätzlich 

• eine 3/8-Zoll-Schraube (Länge 7/8 Zoll) mit Sechskantkopf (Kante zu Kante: 14.1 mm) für das Gewindes des SeeStar 
• eine Mutter mit 10mm metrischem Gewinde und Aussendurchmesser (Kante zu Kante) von 16.9 mm
• drei Holzschrauben (4x20 mm, 4 mm Durchmesser) 

benötigt. 

 Montage:

1. Mutter in den Schacht bis zum Anschlag schieben, bis diese in der Öffnung auf der Unterseite erscheint. 
2. Nun kann der Einschub für die Mutter eingeführt werden, um diese abzudecken. 
   Auch das ist nicht ganz leichtgängig und kann wahrscheinlich nicht mehr geöffnet werden!
3. Nun die Schraube mit dem Sechskantkopf einlegen und den Deckel aufsetzen.
4. Nun den Deckel mit  den drei Holzschrauben befestigen, bis diese bündig mit dem Deckel abschließen. Es ist kein weiteres Vorbohren der Löcher notwendig.
