Description

PDF

Replaces the original cap to accommodate inexpensive activated carbon granules available anywhere, while also increasing the quantity of activated carbon.

The STL files are divided into the outer shell, the top cover, and the replaceable bottom filter frame. The height is approximately 45mm taller than the original cap, while the width remains unchanged.

Printing Instructions:
The outer shell is available in two versions: one without supports and one with built-in supports (optional). The version with supports does not require additional supports in the slicing software. After printing, remove the built-in supports (marked in red) using a cutting tool. Follow the printing orientation shown in the diagram.

Installation Steps:

  1. Cut coffee filter paper or non-woven fabric (dried wet wipes can also be used) and attach them to the openings of the outer shell and top cover.
  2. For the bottom, first adhere the material to the filter frame, fold it along the pre-designed grooves, insert it into the bottom of the shell, and then press it flat.
  3. Pour in the activated carbon granules and close the lid.
  4. Insert the assembled frame into the purifier to complete the installation.

Notes:
If fine black dust appears on the purifier, you need to increase the number of filter layers or switch to a finer mesh filter.

It is recommended to replace the bottom filter paper each time the activated carbon is changed.
