These are tow release mechanisms for R/C model gliders in the 1.5-2.5m size range.
There are 3 models:
Tow release integrated into a 65mm long x 60mm dia nose cone
The tow release mechanism is a "pin in tube" style release, so you will need a length of music wire to act as the pin, and run back to your release servo. They are designed for 1mm wire, but anything from about 0.8-1.5mm should work fine.
I use this wire in my planes

The mechanism works best if you have a loop of fishing line on the end of your tow line. To attach the tow rope, simply push the loop into the lower half of the tube, it will slide up the ramp until it hits the top of the tube. You can then close the mechanism so the pin passes through the loop and rests on the tube divider, locking the rope in place.
These models are all designed to be printed in PLA without supports. I used 10-15% in-fill when printing mine and they came out really strong.
