These are designed to allow for simple cable management within the beam running across the desk. The pocketing grants less material usage, ability to pull cables through as well as squeezing thin plugs through. Two of these have the ability to clamp an ordinary power bar to the desk.
NOTE:This was designed to fit around the 120x70cm version of this desk. Thanks to @vladiakovlev_3151098 for notifying me of the difference between it and the larger versions which use a different stand. Should I get access to a larger desk, I will take measurements and update the model appropriately. |
This just snaps into place onto the beam. Feel free to cut them in the slicer to your needs.
I printed mine out of PLA, but be wary of how you're printing it if you go with PLA as well. If you don't want to go with full 100% infill, create a modifier to make the clips solid as when I printed it with 10% gyroid, it just snapped when trying to install it. I also printed it slower at the clips.![]()
I've had a rather high failure rate with the main file. As such, I'm also including a slightly larger one that should be a bit less prone to cracking, but also be a bit looser.
