Introduction

The Peggit system is a simple way to attach holders and organizers to your pegboard using simple automotive rivets.  The clip easily attaches to standard pegboard with 1" spacing using 15mm x 12mm x 6mm automotive push rivets.  Holders can be easily removed from the clip by pressing the two arms on the bottom of the clip, making it easy to move your holders around.

You will need a Peggit Clip for attaching this holder.  View the whole Peggit Collection.

Printing

The top section of the holder gets printed vertically, not on its back.  This will ensure the clips are at their strongest.  For the bottom section, orient it along the back.  You can use standard 0.2mm layer height and PLA works just fine.  No supports are needed.

NOTE: This holder isn't technically Peggit, since it doesn't use the same clip, but it does use the rivets and this was my first time using them, so I'm calling it Peggit-compatible, because I can.  ;-)

You can use a bit of foam in the bottom piece for the chisel edges to rest on.  They're positioned to not actually rest on the bottom plastic, to prevent dulling.  But a ~1/8" thick piece of foam works to cushion the tips.

Tips and Tricks

If you're testing out an arrangement of holders, you can install the rivets, but remove the center pins.  This will allow you to loosely attach the holders and see how everything will fit before securing them to the pegboard.  Simply find the right spot, press the tabs on the arms and remove the holder, then add the pins and replace the holder.

Instead of using the pins that come with the push rivets, you can use a ¾" 8-32 (or M4 16mm) flat head machine screw (see the materials section below).  These screw and unscrew easily making it easier to relocate holders.

Materials

Below is a list of what you will need to assemble everything as intended.  Of course you can substitute what you want, but the list below is what worked for me.
