Do the Basketballs have to be in TPU or is it fine in PLA?
@HighSchoolPr_4948823 They can be printed in PLA. They will just be louder because they don't have the same squish that TPU offers.
u no what i dont need them but u go stoll any ways hey but thanks so uch any ways the reason i dont need them is because if igured out away to to 3mf files to stl
@hamguy_4520969 Ah no worries, glad you got it figured out! To be honest, I don't export my new models in stl format anymore as 3mf is a really good new standard. I've been super busy with other projects at the moment, but I'll revisit the stl version of this model in the future if someone needs it.
Thank you!
can u make all stl files please
@hamguy_4520969 Hi there! I'll work to have the files exported as STL for you.
What material should I use for the basketballs
@Kaelen_4247038 Hi there! I recommend printing the basketballs in TPU. And if you choose to print with TPU, make sure to print the parts by object in the slicer, so that the printer does one part at a time before proceeding to the next in order to reduce stringing.

@ItsDeCia could I use pla?
My son and I made this, if you could have seen the smile on his face when he shot his first basket with it. Itโs sturdy, well designed, and seems quite durable. Great project to work on with the kids.

Thank you very much for the 5 stars! Iโm so happy to hear that you and your son enjoy the model! :)
For the assembly, what hardware do I need?
@JoeNaab_1282550 For this build, youโll need the following hardware:
13x M3x8 socket screws
12x M3x12 socket screws
25x M3 nuts
4x 6x2mm round magnets
The full breakdown and quantity of parts required is also available inside the assembly guide PDF.
@ItsDeCia Thanks for responding so quickly
Can you please add .stl models, please?
Nice make! Thank you for the 5 stars!
