Ever wondered where to package your tiniest tool as a gift?
A good solution to that approach is using a tiny festive gift box.
For anyone wondering how tiny the tool is by default:
Box: Inner: 21x21x16mm Outer: 25x25x20mm
Print Instructions:
The box is relatively forgiving i would recommend to print it with .15 or .20 layer height.
The ribbon elements should be printed with .1 layer height if you use the default size of the model.
The tiniest gift box on the picture is original size while the others were scaled up by 30%.
Assembly:
This should be quite straightforward. Just close your eyes and wish, that it will be assembled when you open them again.
In case that did not work three times in a row you can go ahead and do as the model says.
1. Box-Bottom + Box-Top = Box2. Box + Ribbon-Inner + Ribbon-Outer + Open-Slider = Tiny-Gift-Box
(The commutative law cannot be applied here since it is an assembly instruction. Dont start with the Open-Slider as this would make things more complicated. Just do it from left to right. Top to Bottom)
Honorable Mentions:
Please make sure to also look at https://www.printables.com/model/48820-tiny-gift-box/ as i took the major design inspiration from there.
I mainly re-modeled it because of different properties required and added some ideas that came to mind while in the process.
Hope you are having a good time and take care.
