VW ID.4 Charge Door Hook

The hook keeps the door of the charging port of your ID.4 a little less wide open when charging. This protects the door better from accidental damage, such as breaking off because it was too wide open.

There are two versions. One for cables with a diameter of 13 mm (tested) and one for 18 mm (not tested so far). Use a cable tie to attach the hook to the cable. I used one that was 1.5 mm thick and 4.8 mm wide.

There is already another model, but it didn't work for me the way I wanted. So I designed my own model from scratch (not a remix).

The model was created with FreeCAD 1.0.
