I was thinking about how to add silica boxes to the Python enclosure, as atm I don't plan on using the heater/drier that goes with it.
The attached is what I came up with. It fits in the existing cutouts in the Python enclosure and you can either print my locking tabs or use the ones that came with the hardware kit to hold the plugs in.
There is plenty of clearance between the box and the driven gears in the Python mod.
I designed this so that individual parts can be oriented for simple printing. The box, locking tabs, and mounts print vertically and if done right no supports are needed. I did add a brim to the mount/locking tabs Just in case, though I likely could have printed them as is.
I've included the Fusion file as well (don't beat me up too bad, I'm learning) if you want to modify the design. I'd just like credit for the original is all.
You will need 6-3mm screws to assemble this project. I hope some of you can use this.
