- Main purpose: To prevent the PTFE tube from scraping against the top glass.
- Advantages of this model:
- A lot more stability thanks to redesigned base.
- Large radius (about 38,125 mm).
- Light (3,9 g).
- Print recommendations:
- Scale to 102% for ABS (to compensate for shrinkage) - or use included .3mf file
- The top part needs supports. Its optimal printing orientation seems to be upside down.
- The bottom part doesn't need any supports.
- Assembly notes:
- Remove supports and smoothen the seam on the bottom piece.
- Assemble the two pieces together (requires quite a bit of force).
- Push the PTFE tube through the assembled parts.
- Connect the tube to the extruder.
- Slide this assembly down to the place of the original base and screw it in.

The author remixed this model.
Differences of the remix compared to the original
Improved geometry for printing. Extended the top part to ensure better guiding of the PTFE tube. Edite the bottom part for nicer fit and easier assembly.
