If your filament rolls are elsewhere and you want a moveable / removable reverse bowden, I created this for you!

I took the mounting part of the filament sensor mount as inspiration and I made a wider clip with a UBBI connection at a 45 degree angle. There is also a hole for sticking filament that you aren't using (like a filament clip).

I hung my filament rolls on the wall instead of using the stock Elegoo spool mount and was toying with ways of being able to use any filament from anywhere on the wall rack

This project is the brainchild of that. I have inserted a small piece of bowden tube on the mounted clip part for some flexibility but that's not really required (see photos).

The clamp / mount is very difficult to get into the extrusion on the top bar. I suggest a rubber mallet with light hits on either side.

It inadvertently can slide side-to-side once installed. This is a nice byproduct and was not intended. I had originally intended on having several across the top and use the UBBI to move the main bowden tube around.

The print needs minimal supports for the UBBI portion, I use tree auto on the bed.
Minor infill, I think I've tried both 10% and 15% with basically the same results. I tend to use 0.2 and 0.24 layer heights but I'm pretty sure 0.28 will also work.

I've been working on a magnetic version as well, but I don't like it as much. If I finish it, I'll upload it.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I took the mounting part of the filament sensor mount as inspiration and I made a UBBI “mount” at a 45 degree angle for the top bar of the Neptune printers.
