All you need is a Creality Filament Dryer 2.0 and some wires, bringing the total cost to just €38 (excluding the filament).
The electronics are repurposed from the filament dryer and reused in the enclosure.
For the screws, you’ll need 2 M3x10 screws (included with the printer) and 4 M3x16 countersunk screws, along with 2 M3 nuts.
Caution: When working with the electronics, be mindful that some wires carry 230V!
The housing and mounting plate are printed in PETG-CF, but a good-quality ABS should work as well.
The mounting plate includes holes at the bottom for gluing in magnets, as I haven't found the perfect spot for the heater yet.
A backplate for the housing will be added later, along with some cable management features for the mounting plate.
In the last picture, you can see a "before and after" comparison of a cube printed in ABS using Vase Mode.
