Model of the Siemens Venture passenger car currently being introduced and used across multiple railroads in North America. The model configuration is based on the Amtrak Midwest exterior and interior. Other railroads may use the same car design, but it depends.

Print the following:

  • 1x Bathroom
  • 2x Coupler cover
  • 2x End
  • 1x Equipment cabinet
  • 1x floor
  • 3x Glue spacer (optional)
  • 1x Interior A
  • 1x Interior B
  • 10x Pin
  • 1x Roof
  • 1x Side 1
  • 1x Side 2
  • 1x Table mount
  • 2x Trash walls

Hardware:

  • 9x M2x4 machine screws
  • 4x M2x6 countersunk machine screws
  • 2x Trucks
  • 4x Wheels
  • 2x Couplers

Assembly:

  • Starting with the roof insert the trash walls into the ends of the roof. The bathroom and equipment cabinet go in the inboard slots. Make sure all sections have the holes facing towards the sides. They will be used to help align the pins.
  • Add the ends into the ends of the roof using the trash walls to help align the ends
  • Fill the trash walls, bathroom, and equipment cabinet with the pins to help align the sides. Then attach the sides.
  • Insert the pins into the sides and add the table mount
  • Starting with the floor add interior A to one side Interior B to the other.
  • Flip the floor assembly and insert into the shell constructed earlier. 
  • Attach couplers and the coupler covers
  • Attach the trucks
