As many others, I've encountered high temps (above 85c) on my EBB2209 toolhead board, for Voron CAN (2.4 R2 Pro machine). I'm using Stealthburner with CW2 extruder and there was no option that suited my needs, which is CW2 + 3010 (24V) fan and EBB2209 with enough clearance. Hence, I used original PCB cover from GitHub repo STEP file and remixed it into something that fits nicely.
Fan is press to fit, so no bolts needed. You'll need 3-pin header to wire the fan properly and connect to the EBB board. You can expect temperatures lower by 10-15 degrees.
I've used wiring guide from Galileo 2 Cable Cover With 3010 Blower Fan by Aileoze https://www.printables.com/model/984617-galileo-2-cable-cover-with-3010-blower-fan
Wired to the “IND Or FAN” header on the toolhead board (jumper set to FAN). The ground is wired to the GPIO6 pin and enabling the fan in Klipper when hotend is ON using the following config:
[controller_fan toolhead_fan]
pin: EBBCan:gpio6
kick_start_time: 0.5
heater: extruder
max_power: 1
The author remixed this model.
Added slot for 3010 fan on toolhead PCB cover
