A blood alcohol test device is a crucial tool in many clinical and emergency settings for assessing blood alcohol levels. Right now it is not very popular yet, but I think it is a matter of time and affordible technologies. However, using a real device in training can be costly and impractical. To address this, I’ve designed a 3D printable model of the Albio™ blood alcohol test device specifically for simulation purposes. This model offers an affordable, safe, and effective way to enhance the realism of your training sessions without the need for actual medical equipment.

I had the opportunity to meet the Albio™ team at the EUSEM24 conference, and they were kind enough to ship me a device to help create this educational model. While this is not an advertisement, I want to give credit where it's due – these guys are fantastic, and their support has made this project possible.

The model is designed to closely resemble the real device, including a customizable screen 😊 You can display the simulated blood alcohol level on the screen by using a marker, a sticky note, or a sticker. If you write directly on the device, it can be easily wiped clean with an alcohol wipe, making it reusable and versatile for a variety of training scenarios.

Incorporating this model into your simulations allows students to practice important skills, such as administering a blood alcohol test and interpreting the results, in a realistic and controlled environment. It's perfect for educational use where actual testing equipment is unnecessary.

Important note: This is a simulated device and does not measure blood alcohol levels. It’s intended solely for educational purposes.

If you're a company interested in having me create a 3D educational model of your device, feel free to contact me – I'm ready to help!

Have fun, and if you’d like to support my work, buying me a cup of hot chocolate would be greatly appreciated 😊
