GridBoard (and a Gridfinity Pegboard Hybrid) (Better Than Multiboard) and OPEN SOURCE too

Having different systems of organization for vertical surfaces and horizontal surfaces does not offer much adaptability.

So, in the spirit of open sourcing, why not make a FREE OPEN SOURCE gridfinity/pegboard hybrid style system that can also function with the existing 1962 pegboard of 25x25 mm by making adapting some of the best parts of gridfinity, resizing it to 50x50mm with the bases made up of a 2x2, 25mm grid, and make the organizers for the system clip in securely?

This is a departure from gridfinity's base grid I've added 1mm to the bottom since pegboard is 6mm thick instead of 5. With that added 1mm, we now have the ability for bins and other organizers to snap in place meaning it can now be used on a vertical wall. 

In addition to the 1mm thicker basegrid, we now have a 50mmx50mm base grid and a 25x25mm mini grid since the original pegboard is 25x25mm spacing between hole centers. 

But for those of you that are still using 42x42 gridfinity systems, there is still an option for you depending on your needs it could work better, with the 42x42 base system, you don't need to use a peg plate on the base grid if you are going to use 50mm spaced pegboard systems. however, any gridfinity systems more than 1gridfinity grid by 1 gridfinity grid won't work anymore.

if you're using 42x42 gridfinity and want to shift to 50x50, all you have to do is scale the model to 119% or 1.19x and it will fit. but most gridfinity systems don't clip into place, so it will only work horizontally

I've included the clip in base for the bins and organizers for the 50x50mm grids, so if you have the skills you can slice off the bottom of an existing 42mm gridfinity model, scale it to 119%, and attach the bottoms provided in these files.

In addition you can also use those same bottoms on the wall as a pegboard hybrid system, just attach the clip-in 50x50mm base (or 25x25mm base), to whatever model you are using, and you're home free.

There are also 25x25mm mini bases since technically the 50x50 grids are divided into a 2x2 grid, so that the original pegboard system (25mm spacing) can work.

The vertical printing baseclips for the wall mounted organizers are slightly different only because of how 3d printers print if you are printing the baseclips vertically. if you are printing them horizontally, then you can use the original.
