I recently purchased a DDR arcade machine that was converted for Stepmania. It was missing some of the coin mechanisms, so I decided to design some covers. It was also missing the wiring hose that connect the pads to the cabinet, so I designed some couplers that allow a spare vacuum hose to be used (scored mine for $1.99 at a thrift store). The hose is friction fit and holds surprisingly good. Additionally, missing the coin mechanism meant my control panel was dangling lose, so designed a bracket to hold it. I made a knob for one of the coin doors so I could still access the control panel. I hot glued some magnets in to hold the door shut. To install the covers and knob, I held them in place by hand and then heated/smushed the edge of the covers to hold them in place.
