This is a LARGE, modular storage system, intended to be mounted to the underside of a workbench. I printed it on a printer with a build envelope of 300mm x 300mm x 325mm tall. Drawers had to be split into 2 parts to reduce supports and improve appearance.
Each module consists of:
- 1 Box (the outer housing)
- 2 Drawers, each consisting of:
- 1 Drawer Back
- 1 Drawer Front
- (2) Bottom Trays (1 per drawer. Bottom trays have clearance for 1/4” screws)
- (2) Top Trays (1 per drawer)
- (4) Dividers (1 per tray, if needed)
- (4) drawer sliders* (2 per drawer) * I purchased these on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DF79FG71) Sliders may need minor modification to enlarge bolt holes or create clearance for 1/4” screw heads)
- To attach module to bench:
- (4) wood screws (to attach to bottom of work bench. (Length of screw dependent on bench thickness)
- (4) 1/4-in x 1-1/4-in Fender Washers (to use with wood screws to spread the load ***IMPORTANT***)
- To attach sliders to box walls where two modules meet:
- (4) #10-24 x 1-in COUNTERSINK Machine Screws
- (4) #10 washers
- (4) #10 x 24 Hex Nuts
- To attach sliders to end box walls (where there is no other module):
- (4) 1/4-in- 20 x 1/2-in Machine Screws (for attaching drawer sliders to the drawer)
- (4) 1/4-in- 20 x Hex Nuts
- To attach sliders to drawers:
- (8) 1/4-in- 20 x 1/2-in Machine Screws (screw head may interfere with slider operation. If so, grind down slightly)
