I like the original design, but it was too wide for my compact size oscilloscope and I had not enough desk space for it. So I came up with this version. It has a footprint of 324x200mm and is intended to be used with smaller oscilloscopes like my Siglent 1104X-E.
Printed parts
- cabinet_left
- cabinet_right
- drawer_1, 2, 3, 4
- 4x drawer_knob
Note: The drawers are not interchangeable, as the front face of each differs slightly
Other parts
- 8x Zip-ties (2.0-2.5mm)
- 4x m3 8mm screw
- 4x m3 washer (optional)
Assembly
- Combine the two ‘cabinet’ parts together using zip-ties as it is shown on the photo.
- Attach the knobs to each drawer with m3 screws and washers.
- Insert the drawers according to their part index (1-4, from left to right)
This model was designed entirely with CadQuery - a python module for building parametric 3D CAD models.

The author remixed this model.
Differences of the remix compared to the original
- Smaller footprint - 324x200mm, for smaller oscilloscopes, like in my case, Siglent 1104X
- The two halves are combined together with zip ties, not screws
- The drawer knobs are printed separately
