Lithophane in the shape of a part globe or dome. Depicts a Nativity Scene with shepherds and other people coming to see baby Jesus in the manger. The dome is designed to be set on top of a LED push--button puck-light. The hole in the bottom is 8cm in diameter. The top button for turning the light on and off is a shaft that presses on the puck-light. Something like this light.
Print settings
0.4mm nozzle
Print the lithophane with 10 perimeters and no infill. No supports needed. A brim is helpful.
The top plug, that the button fits into, should snap into place with a little pressure.
The pushbutton shaft can be printed in vase mode. Depending on your exact light, it may need to be shortened a little bit; like with a knife after printing or edited beforehand.
Note: I've also included a printable base for use with another kind of light such as a tea light and a blank top plug to cover the hole if you don't want to use the push rod thing.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
