This 3D-printed Christmas card features two collapsible Christmas balls that are initially printed flat but can be easily transformed into 3D ornaments. One of the balls incorporates a built-in light to provide a warm, festive glow when placed on your tree. The card also includes a designated area for a personal Christmas message, combining both a greeting and a gift. Designed to be mailed, this card offers a unique way to spread holiday cheer.

Design Options:

We provide several design variations for our 3D-printed Christmas cards, including:

  • A straight round model (rotates around a central axis)
  • A wavy model (rotates around a central axis)
  • A model without an axis

Each model can be configured with or without a central light and may include or exclude a star decoration.

Sample cards have been created by combining these basic ball designs. Each sample features two balls: one with an axis and one without, providing a mix of styles within a single card.

The light used in the model is available for purchase on AliExpress. It is a small, battery-powered light, pre-assembled and ready to use—no additional wiring, batteries, or setup required. Simply insert the light into the ball to activate the glowing effect.

For a simpler option, we offer a version of the card without the light feature, which can be mailed immediately after printing.

Customization:

Our collection includes a wide variety of models, offering both the cards and basic ball designs for customization. This allows you to create a personalized holiday card.

Available versions include English, Catalan, and a no-text version, enabling you to add your own custom message. This ensures a versatile and thoughtful greeting for any recipient, regardless of language.

Printing Instructions:

  • For models featuring a light, a light cover must be printed using transparent filament to ensure proper light transmission. The light cover file is located in a separate folder, as it is compatible with all models. There are three versions for different printer tolerances and filaments.
    • Optionally, perform a filament change to make the globe of the ball containing the light transparent on both sides.
  • For all other models, no specific printing instructions are required. The design prints directly without the need for supports.
