A simple tool to help you open and maintain your house's IPEX 3-inch one-way valve, the one that prevents sewage from getting back in when sewer pressure rise for one reason or another.
An ordinary 2 by 4 wood plank would usually provide enough leverage on the tabs to unscrew the cap, but I've run into a stubborn cap a few times that where I've almost broken tabs. As is shown in one photo, the plank alone doesn't push properly on the tabs.
After measuring the caps replacement, I designed this simple yet effective tool to adequately transfer torque from de 2 by 4 to the cap.
Pipe wrench optional.
I've also included 2 countersunk holes to install 1/4" lag bolts with their washers because I felt I might need to screw it to the plank. They weren't needed but better safe than reprinting
Printed on my Anet A8 in PLA, 5 perimeters, 10% cubic infill, 0.2mm layer height
