RF Choke/Balun FT114-31 Enclosure

This is a simple enclosure to hold an RF choke or balun based upon a Fair-Rite FT114-31 toroid 2631801202.  Note that FT114-31 toroids have the same diameter as a FT114-43 or FT114-61 toroid, but the height is larger at 13.85mm (the toroids normally sold as FT114-43 and FT114-61 are 7.5mm tall).

There is provision for a standard 4 hole BNC connector at both ends.  The lid can be glued on once complete.  The photos show a choke example for 28MHz wound with 10 turns RG316 which I made for a coaxial vertical dipole.

I printed mine in PLA with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer height.  This is a for portable equipment so PLA will be fine.
