The Wiimote stand by schnurri has a nice design but is not very easy to print.

This remix:

  • Adresses warping issues by separating the base into 3 interlocking parts.
  • Makes the logo part easily printable with color change
  • Widens all fittings for easier inserting and removal of the wiimote and AA batteries.

The pieces do friction fit but it is advised to glue them.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

  • Separated the base into 3 parts, rejoined by keys. To mitigate warping.
  • Separated the nunchuk holder for more stability and made it slide into the base.
  • Separated the logo part into a plate that can be printed with color offset.
  • Lowered the height of the wiimote holder to save material and make inserting/removal easier
  • Widened the AA battery compartments for very loose fit
