Update 2024-12-15: Changed the tolerances of the latch positions. It should now have less wobble at max extension, and less play in general.
Miki's retractable stock is brilliant. It's roomy and looks fantastic on the Mosquito.
My only gripe is that the shoulder pad is too small for my liking, a couple of my friends also complain about it being too short.
This is my extended version.
This version offers a couple upgrades over Miki's original:
There are now strap loops on either side.
The cutout is larger to fit large MOSFET PCBs like the one that comes with G&G V3 ETUs. Yes, I will post a selector plate for G&G ETUs.
There are now many more positions for the stock.
You'll need FreeCAD 1.0 or newer for the included CAD file. Changing the two VarSet values allows you to tweak the length and shoulder pad size yourself.
This has the same tolerance as Miki's 0.1mm variant. If you need 0.15mm simply scale the stock.stp up in the X Y axis to 100.32%.
Parts are all fully compatible with Miki's Retractable Stock, though I find 15mm screws to fit better. 18mm is a little too long.
The author remixed this model.
Extended the size of the shoulder pad.
More granular positions.
Added strap loops.
Larger cutout to fit a mosfet PCB
Included a parametric FreeCAD file so you can tweak the length and shoulder pad size yourself. Just change the two VarSet values and let the software handle the rest.
