Any reference to board layout or config settings might differ on other models. I only have the X-Max 3.
I had to use a 13/32 drill bit (by hand) to bore out the hole slightly, and had to remove a bit of material for the board to fit. I used glass filled nylon though which prints a bit rough, so petg or something might print more accurate. I'd suggest using a very small drop of epoxy on the board and probe case to hold them in place, and make sure the pin is aligned with the U of the sensor
You have to remove the CR Touch components from the cover to put them in here. There are 2 clips on each side holding the case halves together, and one clip on each side holding the board in. Be careful with the small wires inside.
Took me a bit to figure out the wiring so I'll put it here. The CR Touch (at least the one I got) isn't wired like a BL Touch.
On the extruder board, there are two plugs for the probe. Pins labeled left to right below…
2 pin plug - Red (ground), Blue (signal)
3 pin plug - Black (5V), White (Ground), Yellow (Pin up/down control).
You can remove the pins from the plug housings on the cables. That will allow you to re-use the plugs from the old probe with the new CR Touch cable. They can be crushed so google if unsure how to do it.

The author remixed this model.
Added some material to create a cylinder for the probe to fit in, and a tower for the board.
