Use metal automotive grill mesh. The metal mesh is sandwiched between the makerbeams and the printed panels. Grill mesh can be cut with good scissors. These panels require 1 cut piece per side (even though a side may have two printed parts)
Standard Beamcase hardware applies here (m3 nuts and m3x8mm countersunk screws).
I used aluminum honeycomb 6mmx1mm grill mesh. Previously you could buy 3x 13"x13" flat packed pieces, but it seems to come rolled now:
