I have an older extension cord reel but when winding the cord would often go outside the reel and get tangled. My newer cord reel has a guide like this so I was delighted when I found one I could 3d print.  Unfortunately, after printing I found that it was sized for a ½" pipe mount and mine was ¾".  I managed to modify it making it a little thicker and mounting to a ¾" pipe.  My first remix! hope someone someday finds it useful.

I also slightly narrowed where the cord goes in as on the original model the cord slipped out a little too easily.

I printed in PETG to be a little more flexible than PLA, but should work fine in either.  I printed with 4 walls, 3 would likely be ok.  I recommend printing with adaptive layer heights to smooth the curve, but constant layers will work too.

Once printed glue (CA Glue, Weld-On 16, etc) together the to two halves over the pipe.  Holes are provided if you'd prefer to screw through the pipe and adhere it that way as well (like the original model creator I haven't found that necessary).
