A smoothing tool/silicone spatula for smoothing silicone joints.

I've already had a number of spatulas for smoothing silicone joints, but this one really works well for me. The spatula is not rectangular but slightly diamond-shaped, so the spatula can be easily guided at an angle and does not get caught on tile joints.

The spatula has a sharp edge and thus removes the silicone from the wall very well. It should be guided as shown in the last picture, with the smooth side leading.

For those who wonder about the straight edge: The silicone joint should be triangular (according to DIN) so that the water drains better and the joint does not mildew so quickly.
