Idea
I always disliked the looks of the two semi fitting pipe collars around the pipes of my radiators. During my last home improvement project, I decided to make the covers more attractive.

They consist of three parts:

  1. The frontplate, which you slide onto the pipes from the front
  2. The backplate to fixate it to the pipes from the back. They look together via a peg-and-hole connection.
  3. The cover which is really the key idea here. It needs to be printed thin enough to be a bit flexible. Only then can it be placed between the pipes. For PLA i found this thickness to be at 0.8 mm.
Designs

The cover is designed to be printed or laser cut from a different material. I used white PLA for the body of all my escutcheon but varied the cover color to compliment the different floor colors in my apartment.

Temperatures
Depending of the temperature of you heating system PLA might not hold up. Ideally the Tg of your material should be higher than the temperature of the the heating system. Tg (Glass transition temperture) is usually close to the bed temperatur so a good indicator which materials you can use is the Prusa material table

Parameters

The attentive observer will have noticed, that the white edge of the pipe escutcheons varies between the different photos. I made the design in fusion fully parameterisable.
This is also usefull, if the radiators in your apartment have different measurements.

Just open the parameter edior under edit and make the design yours.
