This is just a quick one:

We have two bathrooms at work that have 5" drain covers in the floor.
From time to time I start noticing what I call "sewer flies" flying about the bathrooms. (I am sure that is not their actual name).

I think there is some sort of p-trap in the floor below this drain and my guess is it dries up from time to time, allowing the "sewer flies" to fly into the building. Not something I care for, knowing where they have been!

I go around and fill the drains with a few litres of water and the problem goes away for a few months, but trying to pour water through these drain grates is a pain and causes water to go all over the floor.

This is my solution. It slots into the grate and stops the water that splashes up from the grate from going all over the place and allows me to pour the water in faster.

I print it upside down (Teeth pointing up) at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle and a 10 or 15% infill. There is only a bit of infill at the 45 degree part of the print. The rest ends up being solid because I have my printer, and Artillery Sidewinder X1 set to 3 walls.

Hope it makes your life easier too!
