HeyGears Washing Station Tank Fix

This retainer clamp is to be used with the Hey Gears washing station. If the sieve in the washing tank shakes loose, you can insert this retainer and fix the sieve in place. This in only needed with the “old style” of tanks. The new ones have sieves which are held firmly by magnets.

Printing:
Print all parts in the given orientation with 0.2mm layer hight.

Installation:
You can just squeeze it in place by hand or with some tweezers. 
Note: If you want to remove it, do not just pull it out. Use tweezers, squeze and lift it. If you just pull it uppwards you might damage the little latches on the tanks drain hole.

The spare sieve:
If you want to replace your sieve, you might print one. PLA works just fine since it is inert to IPA. Print it with 0.2mm layer hight and with NO top or botom layers. Choose a 40% rectilinear infill and your slicer will create the desired sieve pattern. 
If you dont have a FDM printer, you are going to find a version for resin printers too.
