1:28 Subaru BRZ; Mini-Z compatible

I have remixed and put together this rc kit for a Subaru BRZ, along with an assembly video. Hopefully this will translate to an enjoyable print and assembly experience.

Hardware Recommendations

The build calls for the following hardware:

• 7x M3x20mm button head screws
• 2x M3x14mm button head screws
• 8x M3x10mm button head screws
• 17x M3 lock nuts
• 4x 625 bearings OR 2x 625 bearings + 4x MR85ZZ bearings
• 2x M2.5x3mm pan head screws (for ESC switch)
• 2x M2.5x6mm pan head screws (for mini-z front clip)
• 4mm OD springs, 2x6mm for front suspension, 2x20mm for rear.

Here are the products I have used in this build:

• M3 lock nuts
• Button-head M3 fasteners
• M2.5 Pan-head screws
• 0.4mm comp spring (0.4 is stiff; 0.5 is too stiff)
• 625 bearings
• MR85ZZ bearings (optional; reduces weight in the rear if used)
• 130 Motor (2s compatible)
• Mini 30A ESC (2s compatible)
• FS2A Receiver (or any compatible receiver for your transmitter)
• Tires (optional; you can print TPU tires but these have way more grip)
• PTK 7462 HV servo (2s ready)
• WLToys 450mah 2S 7.4v battery

Print Settings / Recommendations

The following settings have been applied to the plates files. 

tray1.3mf: 

• 0.15mm layer height on a 0.4mm nozzle
• 4 to 5 perimeters
• 70% infill
• 7 bottom layers; 7 top layers
• PETG preferably 
   

tray2_xx.3mf:

• 0.10mm layer height on a 0.4mm nozzle
• 4 perimeters
• 70% infill
• 7 bottom layers; 7 top layers
• PETG preferably
   

wheels_xx.3mf:

• 0.10mm or 0.15mm layer height
• 4 perimeters
• PLA, PETG ok

tires_tpu.3mf:

• 0.10mm or 0.15mm layer height
• 3 perimeters
• TPU
   

body_brz.3mf:

• 0.10mm or 0.15mm layer height
• PLA ok
• print at the provided 60degree rotation for best result
• use brim to increase adhesion
• lots of support material where needed

Assembly

note: there are two parts to this video. I recommend you watch them both before printing / assembling this project. The first video covers the assembly of the original mini-z chassis, while the second video focuses on some mods (like the 94mm chassis included in this build), TE37 wheels and the MR85ZZ bearing mod. It also covers electronics and assembling the final body.

Modified the BRZ body so it fits MiniZ instead of Xmods. Modified the TE37 wheels so they fit the chassis. Modified The miniz chassis so it fits PTK servo; mr85zz bearings.
