*edit: this is not strait forward as i would like so expect an easier to print update in the comming months. thx for the feedback
Plumbing is cool but at some point you need to shower :P
So I made this because my shower head is about to die and I want a backup.
Print settings
*** the easiest way to print it is with 2 perimeters without changing dimensions*** (the way I did it is below, probably overcomplicated)
Nozzle size ......................... 0.4 mm
Layer height ....................... 0.2
Number of perimeters ... 2-4 (variable based on specific parts)
Infill ...................................... 20%
Supports ............................. enforcers only
Bed surface ......................................... glue stick
Hotend temp ...................................... 240c (or recommended for your filament petg/tpu)
bed temp .............................................. 80c (or recommended for your filament petg/tpu)
Materials used: .................................. PETG/ TPU
Adjustments
This method was successfull to me. All parts are PETG printed except the washer.
Select and print your region pipe standard (US-CAN or EU-ASIA).
Print the screw and TPU washer (2 perim 20% infill).
Print the Head with your preferred number of holes.
In my case ‘’1'' was printed at 104% (in slicer) ‘’2'' asis and ‘’3'' at 103% (4 perimeters 20% infill).
It should not leak (or minimally) and be solid enought to be screwed tightly. If there is not enough pressure pick a head with less holes. I guess it would be easier to get a better fit with 2perim but I didnt test it with this setting so, I cant say if it will be as strong or how it would behave. Please leave comments if your make had failed so I can improve the design. Happy printing :)
