This is a venturi nozzle for the Metabo BP 18 LTX BL and Hikoki RA18DA (both use the same connectors and are technically identical) cordless blow gun which may become handy in some cases when more air volume is needed.
The Venturi effect is a principle in fluid dynamics that describes how the velocity of a fluid increases as it passes through a constricted section of a pipe, resulting in a decrease in pressure. This effect is utilized in air nozzles to enhance airflow. When air flows through a nozzle with a narrow throat, the speed of the air increases as it passes through the constriction. According to Bernoulli's principle, as the velocity of the air increases, its pressure decreases. This drop in pressure can be used to draw in surrounding air which is done through the four holes. Simply hold a tissue against them to see that air is sucked in there,
Use supports when printing! On my A1 bed slinger I used I used a 15mm brim and lowered print speeds to ensure bed adhesion
