The X-33 was a protype Single Stage to Orbit (SSO) vehicle that was to being developed under a NASA funded project to Lockheed-Martin Skunk Works. Unfortunately, the project was canceled prior to demonstrating a launch.
The model consists of Fwd & Aft fuselage sections, a combined Mid fuselage/Frame and the Engine section. Pegs tie everything together. The model snaps together without adhesives or fasteners.
There are two options for the Frame which use bridging filaments to support the model. One contains a radial pattern of filaments and the other a Criss-Cross pattern. Only one is required.
The filaments are fragile, and care must be taken when assembling the model to avoid damage.
HOLIDAY SPECIAL ADDITION
At no extra charge, a frame that encompasses the model and can be used to securely ship it is included.
