Xmas Tree topper Star / Christbaumspitze Stern

This is the big brother of the star of my "Snowflake Christmas Tree", suitable for the real Christmas tree.

The star with holding tube is 20 cm high, weighs about 50g (additional 12g for support) and took 2 1/4 hours on my "Neptune 4 pro". The star can be scaled up to any size as long as your printer supports it.

With 15% Lightning Infill, infill is only printed at the bottom around the holding tube, the star itself then gets no infill at all (at least with Orca Slicer). The stability with 3 wall lines is absolutely sufficient. If you want it to be even more stable, choose a different infill pattern.

I actually wanted to print the star with Geetech Silk-PLA, but the lower tips of the star didn't stick to the support. The already printed part then crumbled when it was removed from the print plate. Silk looks good, but I always have problems with the stability. I then used Prusa Galaxy PLA, which produced a very nice result.

Dies ist der große Bruder vom Stern meines "Schneeflocken-Weihnachtsbaums", passend für den echten Weihnachtsbaum.

Der Stern mit Halterohr ist 20 cm hoch, wiegt ca. 50g (zusätzlich 12g für Support) und benötigte auf meinem "Neptune 4 pro" 2 1/4 Std.  Der Stern lässt sich aber beliebig größer skalieren soweit vom Drucker unterstütz.

Mit 15% Lightning Infill wird Infill nur unten um das Halterohr gedruckt, der Stern selbst bekommt dann gar kein Infill (jedenfalls mit Orca Slicer). Die Stabilität mit 3 Wandlinien reicht absolut aus. Wer es noch stabiler will, wählt ein anderes Infill-Muster.

Wollte den Stern eigentlich mit Geetech Silk-PLA drucken, da haben aber die unteren Sternspitzen nicht auf dem Support gehalten. Das bereits gedruckte Teil zerbröselte dann auchbeim Abnehmen von der Druckplatte. Silk sieht zwar gut aus, habe aber immer Probleme mit der Stabilität. 
Habe dann Prusa Galaxy PLA genommen, mit dem das Ergebnis sehr schön aussieht.
