Designed for a Creality Ender 3 or similar, that has a 6.25mm knurled shaft that sticks out 12mm from the panel.

It's inspired by the combination dial (see remix), but that one's for a much shorter shaft.

Designed in OpenScad. Uses the 'Star' library I found at https://gist.github.com/anoved/9622826

The numbers and slots are highlighted by the rudimentary method of dipping in strong coffee (old coffee grounds mixed with cold water). Works well enough for my purposes.

The newer photo is a reprint, where the numbers area is 0.08mm layer height and the rest is 0.16mm. Post-processing is to gently smooth the numbers area even more and rub in some plasticine. It looks much better than the coffee method.

Notes:

I dipped the lower part of the dial in coffee to get some contrast between the numbers and slots, and the top layer.  Rubbing a pea-size of plasticene went better.
