Phone Holder 2001 A Space Odyssey

In additition to the .stl here, you will need most of the parts from Marcelo Martinez' model “2001 firetv”, which you can find here: https://www.printables.com/model/494882-2001-firetv

Here's what you do:

- You print all the Apes and the Base from Marcelo's model at 150% scale.

- You also print the “suporte” - but cut away in your slicer software everything above the suporte's bottom plate. Print the remaining supporte not quite at 150% scale, since it is a little to tight. I think 147% worked nicely for me.
In the end, before printing the "suporte", scale it up in z axis, so it is a little higher then the hole where it goes in the base plate.

- Then you print the stl from this post here “2001phone.stl” and glue that on the “suporte”. Glue the suporte then into the base plate.

I designed the phone holder's width so it neatly grabs my Pixel 7a in an Otterbox, which is 15mm thick. If your phone is slimmer, scale down the “2001phone.stl” accordingly.

Marcelo designed the Ape with sticks in their feet, but I still opted for additionally glueing them to the base.
