Versatile and Easy-to-Build Bench Vise for the Festool Multifunction Table MFT 3

I currently dont own a Festool table so I have no way of testing it atleast that I know of so there may be some missed tolerances if there are any please give me some feedback so I can fix/improve it.

ASSEMBLY GUIDE:

 

1:Prepare all of the parts (I got a missing screw in the picture)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2:Snap in the viseholder into the slider like shown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3:Put nuts into the holes on the slider and glue them down.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.1:Gather all of the parts

 

 

 

 

4.2:Use the pliers to connect the smallgear with a smallshaft through the holes on the slider.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.3:Put on the handle(glue optional)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.4:Put bigshaft through the biggear as shown on both sides(make sure the bigger end of the shaft is facing the same direction as the handle)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.1:Prepare parts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.2:Cut the stripped wire into 4cm/1.57inch lenght pieces both

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.3:Put the leadscrews on the bigshafts as shown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.4:Put the wire into the holes make sure they are as far as they can go. Bend the wires around the screws as shown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6:Put on the padholder.(make sure the cutout faces the direction on the handle)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7.1:Prepare parts shown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7.2:Put on the padholderstationary like shown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7.3:Screw it down(1 screw minimum).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8: Choose a pad you want to use and enjoy.
