The Elder Wand - Wizarding World of Harry Potter

I designed this Elder Wand from pictures after watching the Harry Potter movie series again in anticipation of Halloween. It is divided into two pieces so that it will print on smaller print beds, but have also included the full wand for larger printers. To assemble, simply match the two inserts and fill with a little glue to make the join permanent.

Print Settings

I recommend printing completely horizontal with supports so that the print layers appear like wood grains, as well as using 3+ perimeters and 10%+ infill. Change this to match your desired weight and feel. I have seen some print successfully fully vertical (including the Prusa team), which gives a much cleaner look to the dimples.
