A Christmas tree lamp that you can print and assemble to decorate during the holidays. It uses vase mode but you can still make it taller than your printer's max height.

  • Print the shades in Spiral Vase mode using a 0.4 or 0.6 mm nozzle at any layer height (we used 0.28).
  • The Stems and base part need to be printed normally.
  • The parts should fit tightly so no glue is required. However, you can use a drop of super glue if you like.
  • Use any LED strip 8 to 10 mm wide. Cut at the desired length.
  • Scale it up to any size you want!

Additional notes:

  • Be careful when removing the vase-mode parts from the print bed! Do not pull them from the sides, use a scraper and carefully separate them from underneath instead.
  • The stem parts are labeled so it is easy to know in which order they should go.

EDITs:

  • 20241210:
    • Added missing file Stem_3_stop.stl
    • Re-uploaded Level6.stl
  • 20241211:
    • Uploaded three sets of parts for the stem or trunk with different clearances:
      • Fit (recommended): 0.15 mm
      • Loose: 0.25 mm
      • Tight: 0.05 mm
  • 20241216:
    • Added a new version of the star top which shines through. It is still compatible with the old model, you only need to print a new Level6.stl and the new files under star_shine folder
