Designed to fit comfortably on finger or held in hand, this lightweight and portable gadget is perfect for stress relief, focus enhancement, or simply showing off your 3D printing skills.

Printing advice:

  • Print oirentation: print it on the Roller Side
  • Material: PLA and PETG works fine, choose the one with less stringing and smaller seam bumps for you
  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
  • Supports: No supports
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Perimeters: at least 2, the more you add stronger the rollers will be and the more momentum it will have
  • Seams: Random!
  • Infill: Triangles, 15% or more
  • Top/Bottom fill pattern: concentric
  • Optional: add a color change at 10 mm for a unique look

It may not run well in the beginning, try to put some force on it or just give it time while in use. The seam “bumps” need to be pressed in to flatten them, this will happen in time.

To improve smoothness you can add hard oil, silicon or some other lubricant.

In case one of the rollers does not roll, the problem usually is the first layer due to calibration. Check the bottom to see any areas where the roller fused together with the cage. If so, carefully cut it free with a thin knife.

If you need a different inner diameter, feel free to reach out

And if you’d like to use the design as a bearing, check out my rolling bearing version:
