Note: I have only uploaded the parts I changed or my original designed parts.  Please download all other parts, like the lids, from Nates github or Printables.

You can use all the original lids and other parts. You only need to use my lid design on the standard spacing version if you want the screw holes.

Changes to Single Fan Version - remix by  Shazklebolt (used his fusion file and exported to step to modify in Inventor

  • Added wire holding tracks
    • I was inspired by the wire track on the FYSETC version by Nate.
    • I had to extrude a little bump into the filter material holding area and make a couple changes to the fan holding area.
    • I ran 24ga silicon wire through it.
  • Added 1mm more of clearance in the back of the pogo hole for the wiring attached to the pogo connector.
  • I changed the Filter Brace to be taller and have a leading chamfer on the side the filter slides in.

Changes to Standard Fan Version - by Nate (used his latest GitHub Step to modify in Inventor)

  • I upgraded the pogo cutout to have the same profile as the single housing files from Shazklebolt
    • I liked this version better, I think it printed better, and also it allowed the connector to be 1mm deeper in the housing.
  • I also added bolt hole lid tie downs to the standard housing, inspired by Foden's version
    • This uses (2) 3mm heat set inserts and (2) 3mm BHCSs
  • I made the existing wire track larger and added more wire hold downs.
  • I changed the Mounting Bracket to have channels to run some zip ties through.

Pogos:

  • I ordered pogos from the linked aliexpress a while back. Both the Female and Style A.
  • Note: As of November 2024, they no longer have the female listed. The style A's pin is thicker than other ones I have found below though.
  • The ones at this listing work , but the female connector is a little thicker and thus sticks out further.
    • The female connector looked the same as the ones i bought originally when i ordered based on the listing, but what i received was thicker and had a slightly different front end.  Like the ones here (see second picture below)
  • The pin is thinner on the male cabled connector, than the one from style A above.
  • Both  versions say they have the same amperage rating though when you take into account one says its for 12V and the other 24V. Which is at least 3x more than my fans pull amperage wise.
  • I have ordered some more female connectors from this listing to see if they match the first ones I first ordered. It's from the same vendor. EDIT: I can confirm the female plugs from this listing are the same as the original ones posted on THE FILTER PAGE.

Accessories:

  • I made a little spacers to use with 2.5mm x 10mm BHCSs. This allowed me to screw down my fans using the mounting holes Nate added.
  • I am using Honeybadger fans from Fabreeko
  • I used a PCB to hook all the wires together on the Standard Spacing version.
    • I just cut up another PCB, but I thought about having some made so I didn't have to run a jumper across all the pins. Let me know if there is interest in these, and I might design and have them made.  (Edit: Design files attached)
  • I then used JST PH 2.0 connectors as quick disconnects for the fans, to make replacing the fans easier. That is not needed though.
  • If you would like to buy the PCB with some PH2.0 connectors pre wired and soldered, you can get it at my listing on Etsy

Print Settings:

  • Normal Voron Print Settings
  • No Supports Needed of course.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I added wire holding tracks to both the standard spacing and single fan version. I added 1mm of more room for the pogo connector wiring. I upgraded the standard spacing fan housing to have the same pogo cutout profile as the single housing by Shazklebolt, since I liked it better. I also added bolt hole tie downs to the standard housing, inspired by Foden's version.
