This is a 100mm Christmas tree ornament that is easy to print on both printers with and without AMS units. I designed it to hand out to my friends who are fans of the famous movie franchise.
The ornament is 100mm wide. I haven't tried to scale it down to make it smaller because I am afraid that the small details might get messed up.
Printing and slicing files tips:
If you don’t have the AMS: If you don’t have a multi-color printer, simply set a pause at layer #3 and layer #6 when slicing this file (if you want the surrounding strings to be gold too) , or even better open the print profile I have made, which has a pre-sliced pause at layer #3 and layer #6. Start the print with light color filament (like silver, gold, yellow), and when the printer stops at layer #3, change the filament from light to darker color (like red, blue, green). Then, when the print stops again at layer #6, return to the first color you used.
If you have the AMS system: If you want to slice your own profile, set the filament to light, then change the filament to a darker one at layer #3, then set one more filament change at layer #6 where you will switch back to the first color. Or use the print profile I have uploaded, which already has pre-slices and set color changes at the needed layers.
