Celebrate Ten Years of MiniWorld3D with an update to one of our first models.
 

You'll need the free model for each featured building in this assembly, this entry is just the base platforms for each, they fit like a puzzle:

4. Sensō-ji Hall
    

We did it this way to allow anyone to print just the part they want, at the scale they want. The larger and fully detailed assembly is anyone's choice.

Dany Sánchez, MiniWorld3D founder and author of this model, visited Sensō-ji in 2015 and then published printable miniatures of the whole temple complex. Nine years later, this early model has received the Ten Anniversary treatment and has been updated with enhanced details and optimization! It can be printed large or in resin perfectly, and even in colors with MMU/AMS. 

About the location:

The Sensō-ji temple in Asakusa, Tokyo, is one of the oldest and most visited temples in Japan.

The temple grounds include all the important buildings that we listed before, such as the main Hall, the Five-storied Pagoda and two Gates, but also many minor buildings and a popular street with shops and tourist attractions (from Wikipedia).

MiniWorld3D is happy to bring this model to life as a homage to all the people of Japan. This model was originally designed from scratch in parametric software and updated in Tinkercad. Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture and education!

Print Instructions

Suggested parameters:

• No supports.
   
• Gcodes with pauses for color changes are provided. You can slice it your own way or use MMU/AMS too.
   
• At 1:1 or 100% scale, the whole assembly area is about 21 x 11 cm2.  Scale up to your liking, and remember to scale the main buildings to the same too.

Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.

Infill: as low as 15%
