The third model in a lineup of FTC intakes, the Dynamic Intake rocks the competition with its high efficiency and accuracy. It is designed to swiftly pickup samples from the ground, using their top channel for alignment. This intake utilized a dropping, pyramidal tip, specialized clips, a 3d printed thrust bearing, and a rubber band semi-gymbal to automatically align to the rotation and position of any Sample. This intake has seen many variations, all with incremental improvements. It also a mostly-passive intake, using only two servos and no sensors, though a camera could be added for visuals. It mechanically adjusts to intake swiftly, and is a great project to learn about a variety of different mechanisms and functions. Enjoy!
